Youngsters bored by books?

In the present era it is difficult to find any children who are not addicted to using the best technologies ever found- computers and TV. Though this is advantageous, it is seen that parents and teachers are simultaneously complaining about the fact that youngsters are into using the computers and they are bribing their children to read books.

A poll which questioned adults showed that they are more interested in playing games in the Internet, surfing or watching TV than reading a book. Youngsters preferred more books that had TV characters like Doctor Who and Ben 10 and other similar characters, they would love to read about.

Worried about digital media replacing the reading habit, most parents admit that they only allow their children to watch TV or use the computer only after reading. And many others think that their children will read more if they were accessed to some elements of their school’s reading programme on the computer.
